The "Interreg Cooperation Day" celebrated with enthusiasm in the town of Keşan in Edirne with various events

Every year on September 21st, the "Interreg Cooperation Day" was celebrated in European countries with a variety of events. This year, it was hosted in Keşan, Edirne, under the auspices of the Directorate for EU Affairs - National Authority of the Programme, as part of the Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme.

Program managers, project beneficiaries, public institutions in the area, representatives of local authorities, non-governmental organizations, and the local people  attended the events held under the theme of "European Year of Skills".

As part of the activities, after the opening speeches held in the village of Çamlıca in Keşan, a visit was paid to the "Colors" project, implemented under the Bulgaria-Türkiye Cross-border Cooperation Programme, and wall painting activity carried out with the participation of artists from Türkiye and Bulgaria.

Subsequent to the events, sailing and canoeing activities were organized with the participation of Keşan Municipality Water Sports Club, Edirne Nature Sports Club, various NGOs from Bulgaria, and local people. Practical training in canoeing and sailing was provided to the participants.

The event concluded with dinner and concert.
