Political Consultations between Republic of Türkiye and the Swiss Federation were held on 21st of March 2019 in Ankara under the co-chairmanship of Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs and Ambassador Pascale Baeriswyl, State Secretary and Political Director of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Federation.
During the consultations, bilateral relations, Türkiye’s EU accession process, as well as a wide range of regional and multilateral issues such as counter-terrorism, fight against irregular migration, Brexit were discussed in detail.
