The Jean Monnet Scholarship 2021-2022 Academic Year Info-Day was inaugurated by the opening speech of H. E. Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs on 23 September 2020 Wednesday. In his openning speech, Ambassador Kaymakcı indicated that so far more than 2000 people benefited from Jean Monnet Scholarship Program, one of the Turkey's longest and most prestigious EU funded Project. Ambassador Kaymakci also added that approximately 160 people are planned to be granted under the current scholarship call of which the announcement was made on 9 September 2020.
Following the opening speeches, participants were informed on various issues covering different technical details of the application procedure during the online meeting.
The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme is funded under the Instrument for Pre Accession Assistance (IPA). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs is the beneficiary of the Programme. The Jean Monnet Scholarship 2021-2022 Academic Year Announcement was publishded on 9 September 2020. Deadline of applications is 17 November 2020.
