Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik visited the mother of a martyred soldier
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik visited the Zübeyde Tura, who is the mother of a martyred soldier and is alleged to have been insulted by a bus driver in Adana.
Minister Ömer Çelik, who made a press statement after visiting the family of Mehmet Tura, who was killed in the line of duty in an attack by PKK terrorists in Bingöl in 1993, said:
"We visited Zubeyde and Ahmet Tura, the family of the martyred soldier. This was a tragic event that did not suit one of our own. We visited the family to say prayers and give our condolences. We thank them for the prayers they said.”
Zubeyda Tura thanked Minister Çelik for his visit and said that she wished “God protect our state and our nation.”
