Minister for EU Affairs congratulated the Ramadan Fest of citizens
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik congratulated the Ramadan Fest of citizens following prayers at the Adana Sabancı Merkez Mosque.
Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik congratulated the Ramadan Fest of all the Turkish people and Islamic world and said in his statement that it was a great honour to celebrate the Ramadan Fest. Minister for EU Affairs Ömer Çelik said that he hoped that the Ramadan Fest would bring prosperity and happiness to all oppressed people in the world and to all humanity.
Referring to the recent attack on members of the AK Party in Suruç, Minister for EU Affairs said: “We are now in a very important period. We are very sad. There was an attack on the delegation of our Member of Parliament from Şanlıurfa. Our brothers have lost their lives. I wish condolences to all of our people. May God have mercy on their souls.”
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik indicated that the greatest strength of our people was in the ballot and said: “As we go to vote all together, we will continue on our course without any regard to these kinds of provocations and violence. We will continue with equanimity on our course in unity and solidarity without any regard to such vandals, acts of terrorism and provocation.”
