Cross-border Cooperation Programmes Information Meeting for IPA Beneficiaries and Stakeholders Was Held Online

An online information meeting on Cross-border Cooperation (CBC) Programmes was held on April 3rd, 2023, in order to inform participants from IPA beneficiary institutions and stakeholders. Addressing the participants with an opening speech, Mr. Bülent ÖZCAN, Director General of Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation, underlined the importance of the utilization of allocated funds by our institutions.

Following the presentation of  Ms. Şebnem SÖZER, Head of the Cross-border Cooperation Department of EU Directorate, our directorate experts, who are responsible for  CBC programmes, provided information regarding Bulgaria-Turkey CBC Programme, Mediterranean Sea Basin CBC Programme and Black Sea Basin CBC Programme. While key aspects and application process of the first call for proposals, launched on 30 March 2023, under Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme,  it was also brought to the attention of participants that Cross-border Cooperation Programmes should be carried out in synergy with the Union programs and the IPA programmes.
