Habitat Entrepreneurship Week Stakeholder Meeting held

Entrepreneurship Opportunities within the Scope of the EU Funds Meeting organized by the Directorate for EU Affairs on the occasion of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, was held online on 12 November 2021 with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk Kaymakcı.

Presidents of KOSGEB Hasan Basri Kurt, TOBB member of the board Cengiz Günay, President of TKDK Dr. Muhammed Adak, chairman of the board of GEN Turkey, chairman of the board KAGİDER Emine Erdem, chairman of the board Of Turkonfed Orhan Turan participated in the meeting that started with the opening speech of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk Kaymakcı.

Meeting on enterpreneurship opportunities within scope of the EU funds held with 1000 participants from NGOs, universities, enterpreneurs, investors, public and private institutions. Directorate for EU Affairs, Ministry of İndustry and Technology, Agriculture and Rural Development Development Agency, TUBİTAK and KOSGEB informed the participants with their presentations.

Global Entrepreneurship Week has been celebrated in Turkey at the same time in 178 countries every November since 2008. This year it is organized under the general coordination of GEN Turkey and Habitat Association With the support of 20 institutions consisting of universities and civil society organizations.
