Financial Cooperation Coordination Board Meeting Held

The Financial Cooperation Coordination Board meeting was held online on 9 February 2022 with the participation of high-level representatives of the relevant ministries and institutions under the chairmanship of National IPA Coordinator, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı.

At the Board meeting, up-to-date information was given and views were exchanged on the progress in the implementation of the Instrument for Preaccession Assistance (IPA) II period (2014-2020), IPA III (2021-2027) 2023 programming year, revision of the IPA III Strategic Response Document, Türkiye Investment Platform (TIP), IPA III joint/integrated training studies (IPAdemi) and IPA III joint communication studies.

The Financial Cooperation Coordination Board meets periodically in order to reach decisions with a view to ensuring an efficient, timely and targeted utilization of the EU funds within the context of the IPA. The Board meeting serves also as an effective platform where Institutions involved in IPA processes are informed about the recent developments in the financial cooperation between Türkiye and the EU.
