PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

The project has two main purposes:

1. To strengthen the institutional capacity for dealing with refugees and asylum seekers and to introduce standards for legislative and administrative alignment with EU acquis and best practice
2. Adoption and enforcement of human rights of refugees and asylum seekers in line with the EU best practice and international standards, strengthening the institutional capacity to deal with refugees and asylum seekers in a well structures, modern asylum system, including a network of reception centres managed by specialized staff.

• Functioning of up to 7 well-structured RSA centres (Reception/ Screening/Accommodation),
• A sustainable training delivery system for asylum staff, and
• Set up the Asylum Documentation and Resource centre
