Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay participated online in the 9 May Europe Day Event organized by the Economic Development Foundation

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay delivered an opening speech at the Europe Day event titled “Europe’s Future and Türkiye’s Role in the Polarizing World” which was arranged by the Economic Development Foundation in İstanbul on 9 May 2023.

Ambassador Bozay stated that in these days we are living in the shadow of the war, 9 May Europe Day is more important than ever as a day to honor peace and stability. 

Ambassador Bozay also stated that in order to build a better future, Europe should attach importance to its founding values as well as concrete achievements and that Türkiye is ready to contribute to the EU in both areas.
