Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the "Türkiye's EU Membership Process and EU Opportunities for Turkish Youth" Conference held with ITU
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı came together with students and academicians in the online conference titled "Türkiye's EU Membership Process and EU Opportunities for Turkish Youth" at the kick off meeting of the “EU Integration and Turkey – IntegrEUtor” Project, which is financed under Erasmus+ Programme and prepared by the Istanbul Technical University (ITU), on 2 February 2023.
The objective of the project, which was entitled to be supported under the scope of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module, is to raise awareness of the European Union (EU) and Türkiye-EU relations among ITU students and to enable academicians from different disciplines to carry out joint studies in the field of EU.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, who exchanged views with students and academics on Türkiye-EU relations and the scholarship, internship and project opportunities such as the Union Programs offered by the EU, stated that the role that Turkish youth would play in Türkiye’s EU membership process is of great importance in shaping the process itself.
