Association agreements enabling Turkey's official participation in the Horizon Europe, the world's largest R&D programme, and Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Programmes were signed by Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, on behalf of Turkey and Mariya Gabriel, the European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture and Youth on behalf of the European Union in Brussels on October 27, 2021
