Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı was keynote speaker for the discussion dinner titled “The Migration Challenge for Türkiye and the EU” organized by Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Türkiye
In his speech Ambassador Kaymakcı, assessed the current and upcoming migration issues. Ambassador Kaymakcı stated that the challenges faced by the European Union in the Ukraine crisis once again showed that the problems in this area in our region can only be overcome with cooperation. Ambassador Kaymakcı underlined the role of Türkiye as a candidate country and the necessity of full implementation of 18 March Türkiye-EU Statement with all its elements.
