Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır attended the EU Ministers Meeting in Amsterdam
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır paid an official visit to the Netherlands to attend the EU Ministers Meeting hosted by the Dutch Presidency of the EU on 11-12 April 2016.
At this meeting, in which the Ministers and State Secretaries in charge of EU Affairs from EU member states and candidate countries participated, issues on the EU agenda during the Dutch Presidency were addressed.

At the meeting, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır expressed Türkiye’s views and expectations concerning Türkiye’s EU accession negotiations, the terrorism threat, irregular migration and visa liberalisation to his counterparts from EU countries.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır met with his counterparts at a working dinner hosted by the Dutch Presidency on the occasion of this meeting.

During his visit, Minister Bozkır also met with Bert Koenders, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. Two Ministers exchanged views on bilateral and Türkiye-EU relations and regional developments.
