Brief description of the project and main objectives |
The project aims to to promote and facilitate the implementation of agriculture related measures of the Green Deal Action Plan of Türkiye through providing necessary tools for achieving climate resilient and sustainable agriculture and fisheries whilst promoting conservation of biological diversity. |

Achievements / expected outputs |
1. Functioning framework enabling the setting-up and implementation of carbon farming in Türkiye in line with EU agriculture and climate acquis established. 2. Institutional infrastructure and capacity of the MoAF strengthened through a sectoral strategy to support the alignment with the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) implementation mechanism and decarbonisation of the fisheries sector. 3. Implementation of integrated pest and disease management practices for a sustainable food system within the framework of the Farm to Fork (F2F) Strategy facilitated. |
