PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

The project will contribute to the fight against corruption by increasing the institutional capacity of CEPO, which is responsible for transferring and placing an ethical culture not only for public officials but also for society in general, and it will ensure the overall improvement of the ethical environment in Türkiye.

Achievements / expected outputs

The main results of the project are the implementation of the legal gap analysis and needs assessments, the preparation of a legislative draft to amend the CEPO's current law, the establishment of an oversight and coordination mechanism for the CEPO, the surveillance, investigation and professional training of the CEPO staff, the implementation of ethics to public officials through different delivery mechanisms.
