Brief description of the project and main objectives |
The project aims to support border security through modernization of the border surveillance system and contribute to the prevention of irregular migration, human trafficking, cross-border crime, smuggling, and further development and implementation of border management and standards in line with the EU's IBM policies. |

Achievements / expected outputs |
With the project, surveillance poles (radar masts, communication masts and internal/external electro-optical masts) to cover the supply gaps from previous EU funded projects, equipment such as shelter units, field sensor systems, and system rooms (a list is indicative) will be provided. The project will ensure that the remaining missing equipment is provided and the entire border is equipped with appropriate equipment. |
