The Start Ceremony of the 17th East-West Friendship Rally was held in Sultanahmet Square, İstanbul

Organized with the theme of the centenary of the establishment of Republic of Türkiye, "17. The "East-West Friendship Rally" Starting Ceremony was held in Istanbul Sultanahmet Square on 9 November 2023.

Istanbul Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ayşe Sözen Usluer was accompanied by Istanbul Deputy Governor Ünal Kılıçarslan, East-West Friendship Rally Association President Nadir Serin, Consuls General in Istanbul and representatives of private sectors and NGOs.

The Rally, which traditionally starts from European countries, passes through our country and ends in Jordan, started from Istanbul this time with 15 vehicles and 20 rally participants. After the Türkiye stage, the Rally will pass through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands respectively and end in Belgium/Brussels on 16 November 2023.
