The 43rd Meeting of Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) held
The 43rd Meeting of Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) was held on 25 June 2026 in Ankara, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay.

In his opening statement, Deputy Minister Ambassador Bozay emphasized the positive role of the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meetings in fostering Türkiye–EU relations, highligted the significance of the economic, trade, and societal links between Türkiye and the European Union, stressed the necessity of updating the Customs Union in order to fully realize its potential, and addressed the new policy priorities emerging from the twin transition, together with the initiatives being undertaken in this context.
