European Cooperation Day will be celebrated with activities to be held in Inece town of Kırklareli

The European Cooperation Day celebrations under the scope of Interreg– IPA CBC Bulgaria–Türkiye Programme of which the Directorate for EU Affairs is the National Authority is set to take place in Inece, Kırklareli on 21^st of September,2021 with the motto “Music will cure us, let’s socialize again” under the patronage of the Directorate for EU Affairs.

The European Cooperation Day, whose 10th anniversary will be celebrated this year, will take place with the participation of the representatives of the Directorate for EU Affairs central and local governmental institutions and civil society organizations, as well as beneficiaries of the Programme and the local community.

EC Day celebrations will be organized in cooperation with the Directorate for EU Affairs in Türkiye (National Authority of the Programme) and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria (Managing Authority), and coordinated with the support of the Joint Secretariat - Haskovo and Joint Secretariat Antenna in Edirne.

The core goal of the event is to overcome the isolating effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic that have been still going on and damaging the social and economic lives of the local people. In this direction, people of the region will have an opportunity to come together again and enjoy the Balkan Music concert and folk dance shows that will be performed by musicians and folk dance groups from Türkiye and Bulgaria in accordance with the motto of the event “Music will cure us, let’s socialize again”.
