Dutch Embassy Hosts Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme Alumni
A reception for Jean Monnet alumni who completed their studies in the Netherlands was held at the Dutch Embassy on 16 June 2026.

The programme began with a welcome speech by Joep Wijnands, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ankara. The event continued with a panel discussion on “EU–Türkiye Relations” featuring Jean Monnet alumni. The panel addressed the current state of EU–Türkiye relations as well as opportunities for future cooperation.

Following the panel, Mehmet Kemal Bozay, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador-Designate Aivo Orav, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, and Joep Wijnands, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ankara, delivered their reflections and closing remarks.
The event concluded with a reception, providing guests with the opportunity to network and exchange views accompanied by music.
