Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay attended the Closing Conference of Jean Monnet Network “Linking to Europe at the Periphery (LEAP)” Project
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay attended the Closing Conference of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Network “Linking to Europe at the Periphery (LEAP)” Project on 1 September 2023 at Middle East Technical University(METU).
In his speech at the closing conference titled "European Integration in times of War and Crises: Putting Center-Periphery in Context", where the outputs of the LEAP project launched in 2019 were discussed, emphasizing the importance of EU Programs, Ambassador Bozay made evaluations on the impacts of the war in Ukraine to EU’s enlargement policy and the importance of improvement of Türkiye-EU relations.
