Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP25)
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the United Nations UN Climate Change Conference (COP25) on 2 December 2019 in Madrid. COP25 is being taking place between 2-13 December 2019 in Madrid under the Presidency of Chile with logistical support from Spain.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı emphasized the necessity of considering the characteristics of the countries and a differentiated and fair approach in commitments while struggling for a healthier environment and dealing with climate change.
