Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with Jaime Van Zeller Leitao, newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal to Ankara on 18 January 2021 at the Directorate for EU Affairs.
During the courtesy call by Ambassador Leitao, Türkiye-Portugal bilateral relations and enhancing Türkiye-EU relations during Portugal’s EU Presidency were discussed in detail.
Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı wished success to Ambassador Leitao in his new assignment in Ankara.
