Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı came together with Jean Monnet Scholarsihp Alumni
Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for European Union Affairs met with Jean Monnet Scholarship Alumni in Ankara. The event, that was also joined by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Özgül Özkan Yavuz, who herself is also a Jean Monnet Scholarship Alumni, aimed to strengthen the communication network among the Jean Monnet Scholarship Alumni.
In his speech where he assessed the current Türkiye-EU relations and expressed expectations from the upcoming period, Deputy Minister Kaymakcı also underlined the importance of the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme and its Alumni for the EU Accession Process of Türkiye. Ambassador Kaymakcı, through an online survey has also received opinions of participants about Türkiye’s EU Accession process and the Jean Monnet Scholarship programme.
