Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik concluded his visit to Bratislava
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik paid a visit to Bratislava on 14 June 2016 to hold official talks with his counterparts from Slovakia which will assume the EU Presidency on the second half of 2016.

Within the framework of his visit to Bratislava, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik met with Miroslav Lajcak, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia at a working dinner.

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik also met with Ivan Korčok, Secretary of State for EU Presidency. Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Çelik also gave interviews to the Slovakian TV channels in Bratislava.

At his meetings in Bratislava, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik exchanged views on the recent developments in Türkiye-EU relations, preparations and priorities of the Slovakian EU Presidency, future of the EU, migration crisis, visa liberalisation process, cooperation against PKK and DAESH in the fight against terrorism and bilateral relations between Türkiye and Slovakia.
