Financial Cooperation Coordination Board Meeting Held
The Financial Cooperation Coordination Board meeting was held online on 10 September 2021 with the participation of high-level representatives of the relevant ministries and institutions under the chairmanship of National IPA Coordinator, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı.
At the Board meeting, evaluations were made on the work schedule which is created through information sharing and exchange of views on the progress in the implementation of the IPA II period (2014-2020) and also comments made by the European Commission on the Strategic Response Document for the IPA III period (2021-2027) along with the programming processes for the years 2021 and 2022.
The Financial Cooperation Coordination Board meets periodically in order to reach decisions with a view to ensuring an efficient, timely and targeted utilisation of the EU funds within the context of the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA). The Board meeting serves also as an effective platform where Institutions involved in IPA processes are informed about the recent developments in the financial cooperation between Türkiye and the EU.
