Brief description of the project and main objectives |
In the second generation of e-passports, the passports which began to be produced in 2010 have been upgraded in a way that allows biometric data to be stored and they contain features compatible with the requirements and standards set by the EU. |

Within the project, newly developed passport booklets and e-passport personalization equipment has been procured. 4,250,000 passports have been printed within the scope of the project. Currently, the production of passports by EU standards continues. |
