PROJECT SUMMARY

Brief description of the project and main objectives
 

The project aims to improve the already built removal centers. Removal centers in 5 provinces will be renewed according to international standards. Necessary goods and equipment will be purchased for removal centers located in 6 provinces. The project also includes consultancy services.

İstanbul, Ağrı, Malatya, Bayburt, Ankara, Adana, Aydın, Edirne, Hatay, Van

Achievements / Expected outputs

5 removal centers built in Adana, Aydın, Edirne, Hatay and Van provinces for irregular migrants will be renovated in line with international and EU standards. In addition, the interior of 5 removal centers in Istanbul, Ağrı, Malatya, Bayburt and Ankara, which were built with our national budget, will be furnished. Reinforcement will also be made to other return centers in need of material.

This activity aims to ensure one of the conditions of the Readmission Agreement between Türkiye and the EU.
