Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik Attended the Opening Ceremony of the Abdi Sütcü School of Health Services at the Çukurova Unversity
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik attended the opening ceremony of the Abdi Sütçü School of Health Services at the Çükürova University.
Minister Çelik indicated the importance of the School for training students for every branch of the health sector and said: “The matter of training personnel is one of the most important needs of our country now. Students that have been trained here will be very important for us.”
Minister Çelik, which referred to the importance of universities said: “The future of Türkiye and the path to Türkiye’s becoming an important actor in the international level, along with the achievement of the 2023 and 2071 targets, depends on the strength of our universities. The scientists have always been respected and came first in Türkiye historically. Therefore, we should attach the same importance to our universities.”
After his speech, the President of the Çukurova University Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kibar presented Minister Çelik with a plaquet.
Minister Çelik, and the participants, cut the ribbon of the opening ceremony and went on to see the building and the departments.
