EU Minister Ömer Çelik’s remarks regarding the latest EU Foreign Affairs Council Meeting
Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ömer Çelik, attended a meeting organized by Körber Foundation as a part of his official visit to Berlin and held a press meeting afterwards on the latest decision of the EU Foreign Affairs Council regarding Türkiye.
EU Minister Ömer Çelik stated that even though the statements of European politicians regarding Saturday’s twin terror attacks in İstanbul are welcomed and seem to be more balanced and positive, a simple statement is not sufficient to show solidarity and Türkiye expects more concrete and powerful steps from the EU considering the fight against terrorism.
