Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır's Visit to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will pay a visit to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on 6 January 2016.

During his visit to TRNC, Minister Bozkır will be received by the President of TRNC Mustafa Akıncı, the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic Sibel Siber and Prime Minister Ömer Kalyoncu. Minister Bozkır will come together with Minister of Foreign Affairs Emine Çolak at a meeting followed by a working luncheon.

Minister Bozkır will also meet with Minister of Public Works, Environment and Culture of TRNC Kutlu Evren and Minister of Transport Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu.

In TRNC, Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator Ambassador Volkan Bozkır will receive an honorary doctorate degree to be awarded by Girne American University and will speak at a conference titled "Türkiye, EU and Cyprus" at the same university.

During his talks in TRNC, Minister Bozkır will exchange views on Cyprus issue, bilateral relations between Türkiye and TRNC and Türkiye's EU accession process.
