A US delegation from the Illinois State Council visited the Ministry for European Union Affairs on 4 October 2011.

H.E. Mr. Egemen Bağıþ, the Minister for EU Affairs and Chief Negotiator welcomed the delegation and replied questions concerning Türkiye-EU relations.

The Delegation was also received by Ms. Baþak İlisulu, the Acting Director of Civil Society, Communication and Culture Directorate and informed about the "EU and Türkiye Relations and the EU Negotiations Process".
