Our Directorate organised a Training on EU Grant and Support Programmes and Project Cycle Management for academic staff working at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University.

Hosted by the University on 15–16 September 2026, the training was attended by approximately 30 academic staff members from across the University. Within the scope of the two-day training programme, Dr. Anıl Müge Seyrekbasan, Training Coordinator of our Directorate, delivered training on project cycle management (PCM), project development and project writing processes relating to EU funds.

To raise the participants' level of knowledge of European Union programmes and their funding opportunities and to strengthen their project development capacity, Dr. Petek Karatekelioğlu, EU Affairs Expert, shared the training, cooperation and mobility opportunities available under the Erasmus+ Programme; Semiha Öztürk, EU Affairs Expert, presented the research, innovation and international cooperation opportunities under the Horizon Europe Programme; and Kubilay Sitrava, EU Affairs Expert, shared the opportunities offered under the Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes. In addition, Meriç Yeğin, Assistant EU Affairs Expert, conveyed our Directorate's institutional experience in the field of Erasmus+.

Our Directorate continues its training and information activities aimed at enabling our country to benefit more effectively from European Union programmes and at strengthening project development capacity.
