Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the Political Consultations held in Stockholm Between Türkiye and Sweden
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the Türkiye-Sweden political consultations held in Stockholm on 16 November 2022 with the State Secretary of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Ambassador Jan Knutsson.
During the political consultations, bilateral relations between Türkiye and Sweden as well as Türkiye-EU relations were discussed extensively prior to Sweden's EU Presidency in January 2023.
Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı also met with Swedish State Secretary for EU Affairs Christian Danielsson as well as with the Chairman and Members of the Riksdag Foreign and EU Committees.
Within the scope of program, Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı gave interviews to local and foreign press organizations located in Stockholm, and also attended the meetings held with Swedish business circles and Swedish Turkish community.
