Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in “Future of Europe and Turkey” webinar organized by the Economic Development Foundation (IKV) on 19 February 2021.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı shared his views about the challenges of the EU, debates on the future of the EU, Turkey’s contribution to the European project and the state of play in Turkey-EU relations.
Ambassador Kaymakcı emphasized that the future of Europe highly depends on the EU’s success in addressing the current challenges and Turkey can contribute to the EU significantly regarding each of these challenges. Ambassador Kaymakcı stated that Turkey wants to see a strong, inclusive and visionary EU undertaking global responsibilities and Turkey is ready to work with the EU for building our common future.
