Turkey-EU High Level Political Dialogue Meeting was held in Ankara on 22 November 2018
During the meeting between the Turkish delegation which includes the Directorate for EU Affairs that was led by Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and on the EU side by Ms. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission and Mr. Johannes Hahn, EU Commissioner for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, the main issues in our relations with the EU, namely our accession process, as well as the economy, trade, financial cooperation, energy, Customs Union, fight against terrorism, security issues, migration and visa liberalization were discussed in detail.
At the meeting, an exchange of views on the Balkans, Syria, Iraq, the Middle East Peace Process as well as other regional and international issues also took place.
