The Studies for Expanding the Scope of LEADER implementation under IPARD II is announced with the participation of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı
The studies for establishing Local Action Groups in 15 new cities to increase the scope of LEADER measure under IPARD II Programme (2014-2020), was announced at the meeting held on 25 March 2021 with the participation of Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, and Ms. Eleftheria Pertzinidou, Deputy Head of Delegation.
Currently, implementation of Local Development Strategies prepared by Local Action Groups in Amasya, Ankara, Çanakkale, Çorum, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Kastamonu, Manisa, Ordu, Samsun and Şanlıurfa are supported by the LEADER measure under IPARD II. It is planned to be extended to Balıkesir, Burdur, Bursa, Çankırı, Elazığ, Erzincan, Giresun, Hatay, Isparta, Karaman, Kütahya, Mardin, Muş, Uşak and Yozgat with these studies.
