Online IPA Monitoring Committee Meeting Was Held

On 30 June 2020, online IPA Monitoring Committee Meeting was held. The meeting was conducted under the co-chairmanship of the DEUA and the European Commission, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Lead Institutions, Operating Structures and the Central Finance and Contracts Unit.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı delivered the opening speech of the meeting. In the meeting, overall implementation of IPA II (2014-2020) programmes were reviewed Besides, Management and control systems and monitoring processes for the effective and efficient functioning of financial assistance were discussed. The level of preparedness  with regard to IPA III (2021-2027) period was also reviewed in the meeting.
