An important step was taken in the framework of Türkiye-EU Visa Liberalisation Dialogue. Negotiations on draft agreement between Türkiye and the EU on exchange of personal data between the Europol and the Turkish authorities to better and jointly fight serious crimes and terrorism were launched on 30 November 2018 in Brussels with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı.
