The 12th Meeting of Sub-Committee No.6 was Held in Ankara on 5-6 May 2015

The 12th Meeting of Sub-Committee No.6 Transport, Environment, Energy and Trans-European Networks was held in Ankara on 5-6 May 2015 with the co-chairmanship of Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry for EU Affairs Mr. Ahmet YÜCEL and Deputy Head of Delegation of the EU to Türkiye Mr. Bela SZOMBATI.

In the meeting, information exchange was realized on the current status of Türkiye’s alignment process and implementation of the EU acquis regarding the Chapters No.14 Transport Policy, No.15 Energy, No.21 Trans-European Networks and No.27 Environment and Climate Action; and the recent developments in these fields both in Türkiye and the EU have been discussed. Besides, a technical side meeting on Environmental Impact Assesment was also held on 5 May 2015.
