Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the 15th “Europe and Peace” Conference of European Regions and Cities organized by Institute of the Regions of Europe in Salzburg between 6-8 October 2019.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı delivered a speech at the conference and underlined Turkey's role in terms of energy security in Europe, East-West Energy Corridor as well as the legal rights of Turkey and Turkish Cypriots in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Within the scope of his visit to Salzburg, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı also met with the Austrian Turkish community and emphasized the importance of the integration of Turkish community to the countries which they live in.
