Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in “Türkiye and Future of Europe” webinar organized by the Economic Development Foundation (IKV) and Kocaeli Chamber of Industry on 8 March 2021 within the scope of 9 May Europe Day events.

 
In the webinar, common challanges and interests for Türkiye and the EU as well as a positive agenda in Türkiye-EU relations were discussed in detail.
 
Emphasizing that Türkiye and the EU have a common past and future Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı stated that, Türkiye’s membership was a key to the EU’s global actorness.
