Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with the university students in the context of 9th May European Day Activities
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with university students at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University and Turkish-German University on 3rd of May 2019 in the context of 9th May European Day activities and gave a conference on “Türkiye-EU Relations”.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Kaymakcı evaluated the past, the present and the future of Türkiye-EU relations at the conference. Within the scope of the conference, an interactive survey was also conducted. Ambassador Kaymakcı stated that youth’s commitment to Türkiye's EU membership process is strong and 74% of the participants believed that Türkiye’s EU membership would be a win-win-win case.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı also attended the “7. New Political Challenges for Türkiye, Germany and the EU” Conference held in Turkish-German University and conducted an interactive survey. Ambassador Kaymakcı stated that 92% of the participants supports Türkiye’s EU accession process and underlined that “integration” is the key.
