Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with Jürgen Schulz, Ambassador of Germany to Ankara
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı met with Jürgen Schulz, newly appointed Ambassador of Germany to Ankara on 12 October 2020 at the Directorate for EU Affairs.
During the courtesy call by Ambassador Schulz, Turkey-Germany and Turkey-EU relations as well as regional developments were discussed in detail.
Stating that the EU membership is a strategic goal for Turkey, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı added that we expect constructive and concrete steps from the EU during German EU Presidency.
Deputy Minister Ambassador Kaymakcı wished success to Ambassador Schulz in his new assignment in Ankara.
