Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı came together with Members of Association of Developing Bicycle Transportation
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the webinar entitled “Raising Public Awareness of Cyclingand Possible Future Collaborations” that was organized by the Directorate for EU Affairs in collaboration with the Association of Developing Bicycle Transportation on 14 April2022.
During the webinar, Ambassador Kaymakcı touched upon the EU's green agenda and EU policies towards the transportation sector and talked about Türkiye’s efforts to align with these policies as a candidate country for the EU. In addition to this, Ambassador Kaymakcı provided the participants with information about the relevant EU-funded projects and communication events of the Directorate for EU Affairs to promote cycling.
At the meeting, possible future collaborations between the Directorate of EU Affairs and the Association of Developing Bicycle Transportationwere discussed as well.
