Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended Trilateral Commission Meeting in Ljubljana
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended the Trilateral Commission 42nd European Meeting and paid official visits in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 16-18 November 2018.
Deputy Minister Kaymakcı delivered a speech at the session under the Trilateral Commission 42nd European Meeting and noted that confrontation between Türkiye and the EU is a “lose-lose” case, cooperation without accession prospect would only deliver limited success and even though Türkiye’s EU membership seems challenging, it would be the most effective option that brings “win-win” situation to all parties.
Besides, within the Slovenia program Deputy Minister Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı came together with Dobran Božič, Slovenian State Secretary. During the meeting, Türkiye-EU and Türkiye-Slovenia bilateral relations were discussed in detail.
On the same day, Deputy Minister Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı gave a conference at Ljubljana University.
