Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended the “Türkiye-EU High Level Agricultural Dialogue Meeting”

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the first meeting of the “Türkiye-EU High Level Agricultural Dialogue” held in Ankara on 11 May 2022.

In the meeting; current policies, agricultural reforms and rural development strategies, EU's goals within the scope of the Green Deal, our country's pathway towards sustainable food systems, prominent issues in our trade with the EU, and Instrument for Pre-Accession on Rural Development (IPARD) have been discussed.

It is believed that HLAD, which was held for the first time will contribute to revealing the broad potential of Türkiye-EU relations and having a closer cooperation in the fields of environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture, food supply security and rural development.
