Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı attended the panel titled “EU and Türkiye in the Wake of Elections: Challenges and Opportunities” held in Ankara TOBB University campus on 4 July 2019.
During the meeting organized in cooperation with the Economic Policy Research Foundation (TEPAV), the Economic Development Foundation (İKV) and Istanbul Policy Center (IPC), representatives of think-tanks, researchers and diplomats discussed the outcome of Turkish municipal and European Parliament elections as well as the upcoming EU administration and its possible effects on Türkiye-EU relations.
