Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı participated in the High-Level Conference on the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) - EU Cooperation held in Brussels on 18th of June 2019.
In his speech at the conference held in Brussels for the first time, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı stated that, Türkiye supports the development of a flexible, project-oriented and mutually beneficial interaction between BSEC and the EU.
Stating that, as an EU candidate, Türkiye is a key partner and actor in the region and beyond, Ambassador Kaymakcı added that, Türkiye can contribute significantly to the policies of the EU in the Black Sea region.
